Biodynamic wines from an unusual climate.

Our Story

Our story begins in 1987 when the vineyard in Harchashim was planted. On Mount Shazor, at an altitude of 860 meters, in one of the rainiest places in Israel. As natives of this mountain, and having grown up in the wild nature of Harchashim, the supreme value that drives us is the preservation and cultivation of nature. Both in the surrounding environment and within the vineyards, we work to revive the soil and enrich biodiversity. Our actions are guided by the biodynamic agriculture and winemaking method. The result of these actions is consistent with our uncompromising aspiration to produce wines of the highest quality. Living soil produces vibrant wines. Unique wines that honestly express the vineyard plots and the nature surrounding them.

Our wines

We produce about 10,000 bottles a year, striving for a process that is as natural, precise, and gentle as possible.
This is to allow for the fullest expression of the varietals and the growing environment. This aspiration is reflected, among other things, in manual harvesting, gentle separation, wild fermentation in small tanks, and low temperatures.

Hospitality

Every Friday, we open our local wine bar called "Friday at the Vineyard". The bar is located in the heart of the Hareisim vineyard, under an ancient oak tree, surrounded by vines and overlooking the sea.
It's a pleasant and tranquil spot where wine and mountain air lovers come to greet the weekend with a glass of wine in hand. You are invited to spend Friday afternoon with us - to taste wines from the winery, drink a glass or two, have a light meal, and take wines home to continue the experience.

Our Vineyards

Harashim Winery cultivates two vineyards – the Harashim vineyard and the Tzivon vineyard. Each vineyard is located at a different end of the Mount Meron Reserve, and together they express the unique terroir of this northern nature reserve.

Biodynamic Agriculture

We chose to work with the biodynamic method because it is a natural continuation of the feelings that have accompanied us since we started working the vineyard soil. Listening, observation, research. Treating the farm as a whole and independent organism, using medicinal plants, and giving space to the creative spirit that pulses within man. All of these find their place in this method, and we found ourselves captivated by its enchanting charm.
